April 06: The Force Distribution paper is replaced by paper with Kellar Autumn on anisotropic friction/adhesion and comparison with Kendall and modified JKR models.
21 Nov. 05 Force Distribution paper -- Basic idea: Introduce the friction/adhesion embedded cone model and its use in controlling force distribution for a climbing robot. (Optional: Compare briefly with observed forces in geckos and insects.) Describe implementation on RiSE platform.
VideoICRA06 -- 20 Sept. 05 Status: Submitted. How about submitting a video of Spinybot (and RiSE platform?) climbing cool surfaces with microspines? Need to submit by Sept. 15:
