Gripper Web

This project concerns the adaptation of climbing technologies (e.g., spines, dry adhesion) and other adhesive methods to grippers that can operate on a wide variety of surfaces. The approaches are divided into two main types of technology:

• SpineBasedGripping
• WetAdhesionBasedGripping

In either case, the gripping technologies need to meet some general functional and physical requirements? regarding loading, power consumption, available footprint and volume, and weight.
