About Me

Hi there! I'm a second-year MS student in Mechanical Engineering, currently working on underwater robots with whisker-inspired sensors based on FBG technology. I grew up in Guangzhou and earned my B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2024.

My research focuses on expanding robot perception modalities—teaching machines to “see, feel, and understand” their surroundings, even when information is scarce or ambiguous. In the past, I’ve explored areas such as active vision, bio-inspired sensing, and learning-based perception. You can find more about my projects on my personal website.

Outside of research, I enjoy running and making music. I sing with the Stanford Early Music Singers in academic year 2024-25 and have a long-standing love for piano and guitar.
