About Me

Hello everybody! I am Elle McCue, a first-year mechanical engineering master’s student working in the medical device corner of the lab. I am developing a system that allows for IVF patients to conduct their own ultrasounds to monitor follicle size at home. This involves tactile sensor development, machine learning, tissue modeling, and more! I love helping people through technological innovation and I am always looking to contribute to projects that further this mission.

Fun Facts

  • I graduated from UCLA with a BS in Mechanical Engineering in 2024.
  • In my free time I love to dance and am a member of Traction Modern Dance on campus.
  • Watching Star Trek is my engineer origin story 🖖
