Here are some pictures of the manufacturing process for the lower ankle.

The first step was to cut out cavities where the urethane would be poured using a 1/8" drill bit.

Then the urethane was poured into the cavities.

You can see small pieces of fiberglass in the urethane that are used as reinforcements

The second cavity cut is shown below after being cut with a 1/8" drill bit.

The final process with the CNC was to drill holes into the parts using a 1/16" drill bit.
