Goals:

• Integrate components and improve manufacturability--mass produce with little touch work
• No more steel springs--update spring geometry
• Add sensors to acquire data of force sensing of touchdown
• Good for multiple designs

Issues/Challenge:

• Glass Tape
  • Preembed & precure & cut
    • Pre-align
    • Control placement
    • Easy assembly/placement issues
    • Reduce variability

Manufacturable:

• # of pours (2 pours maximum)
• Less manual assembly
• Choose large endmills to avoid narrow channels
• Design for assembly & maintainability
