About Me

Hi! I’m Teo, a PhD candidate in Mechanical Engineering at Stanford University. My research focuses on advancing ultrasound-guided therapy through collaborative robotics, with the goal of making robotic systems safer, more intuitive, and more effective in clinical and human-centered environments. I am honored to have been selected as an inaugural recipient of the Stanford Robotics Scholars Fellowship.

I received my M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University in 2025 and my B.Eng. in Robotics Engineering from Beijing University of Chemical Technology in 2023.

I grew up in Shaanxi, China, near Xianyang, an ancient city that once served as the capital of Qin Shi Huang, the first emperor of China and the ruler associated with the early construction of the Great Wall.

Broadly, I am interested in robotics, with a particular focus on soft robotics, hardware design, medical robotics, and sim-to-real applications. Feel free to visit my Homepage, and if you are interested in these topics, please reach out to me!
