Some experiments with showing a random picture in a location
What happens if we directly source a remote .jpg or .png ? In pmwiki default is remote images do display (unlike mediawiki).
OK, now we could have a crontab job that randomly copies an image from a directory to a given file, which is displayed.
Try displaying this (http://bdml.stanford.edu/Courses/gallerypic.png)

Each time /web/htdocs/Courses/310Gallery/randomshow runs on bdml.stanford.edu, this picture updates. It should update hourly, on the hour.
