About Me

Hi! I’m currently a first-year PhD student working on the next-generation hardware system for ReachBot, specifically concerning the design and control of deployable boom manipulators with cable tethers.

I was born and raised in Santa Cruz, California, and attended UC Berkeley (Go Bears!) for my undergraduate studies. My passion lies in building exciting and novel robotic systems—encompassing design conceptualization, hardware prototyping, and application of algorithms. Notably, my prior projects have focused on bio-inspired robots, inspired by the awesome arboreal agility of squirrels and the unique manipulation strategies of butterflyfish (link).

Outside of robotics, you can find me staying active by swimming laps at AEORC, running around the Palo Alto area, and even learning how to ski on the weekends.
