We're using an MP-LAB compiler to program a PIC18F4431? microcontroller, that's used to control the rotation of the device.

Note: In order to use MP-LAB to program the PIC, you must change the date using the administrator account to some date before 2005 to have the licensing work.

We can control the rotational distance using an encoder attached to the motor (Maxon motor), and control the torque applied by limiting the amount of current.

Wish list for the controller

  1. Timer- so that we can hold the skin stretch a uniform amount of time
  2. Automated testing and data retrival? Is this possible?
